Volunteer During Ramadan

The Downtown Denver Islamic Center increases its food programs during Ramadan, and volunteers are needed to support our community during this important, spiritual time.

Volunteer opportunities exist for the Food Relief Program on March 1, March 15 and March 22, as well as Iftar community dinners which are hosted nightly during Ramadan.

Volunteer roles for the community dinners include delivering groceries to cook (flexible on day and time), picking up Iftar Food from cook (1 hour before Maghreb) and grocery shopping (flexible on day and time).
