How Our Food Relief Program Works

Step 1: Apply for Food Help
Click the “Apply For Food Relief” button to start your application. Fill out the application slowly and carefully, and make sure all information about your household is correct. Only one application is allowed per household. If information is missing or incorrect, your application may be delayed or you may lose food benefits. Please take your time, and ask for help if you need it.

Step 2: DDIC Reviews Your Application
After you submit your application, DDIC will review it. We may email you if we have questions or need more information. It is very important that you reply to our email. If you do not respond, we cannot continue processing your application.

Step 3: Schedule Food Pickup or Delivery
If you qualify for food assistance, DDIC will email you three to four weeks before the next Food Relief date. Only people who receive this email are allowed to schedule food. Food packages are limited each month. If you choose food pickup, you must come to our location on the date and time you select, and arriving late may mean you miss your food. If you choose food delivery, a driver will come to the address you provided, and someone must be available at that time. Missed deliveries cannot be rescheduled.

Important Information
Applying does not mean you will receive food. We need correct information to receive funding and provide help. Important messages are sent by email, so please check your email and reply when needed. Food scheduling emails and links are only for you and must not be shared with others.
