Iftar (Dinners) – Nightly
This event takes place at the masjid every night at Maghreb (sunset prayer), starting at 6 PM until March 8th, and then at 7 PM for the rest of the month. It is open to all Muslims and non-Muslims, providing a welcoming space to come together and celebrate the breaking of the fast. Families are encouraged to bring their children and share in the experience.

Food Relief Program – March 1, 15, 22
Celebrate Ramadan with our special initiative, offering culturally tailored meals to families in need. In line with our masjid’s mission of inclusivity, we proudly support vulnerable communities—immigrants, refugees, and those facing food challenges.

Taraweeh Prayers – Nightly
This is the night prayer (Taraweeh), which takes place every night after Isha Salah throughout the entire month of Ramadan.

⏰ Time: The prayer begins following the Iftar dinners and lasts for approximately one hour. It is held at the masjid and is open to everyone.

Ramadan Reflections – Twice a Week
Twice a week, join us for a brief video reminder from our Masjid Imam—designed to uplift your spirit and deepen your connection with Allah through insightful Islamic reflections.

Qur’an Hifth Class – Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
This Qur’an memorization and revision class is designed for Muslim brothers and sisters to strengthen their connection with the Qur’an and revive their memorization.

Qur’an Study Halaqah – Nightly
This is an interactive reflection class that takes place every night for 30 minutes after Taraweeh prayer at the masjid. The Halaqah provides an opportunity to reflect on the recited verses from the Qur’an during Taraweeh and discuss the lessons learned from them.
📖 Open to both Muslims and non-Muslims, this session encourages meaningful engagement with the Qur’an. Participants are highly encouraged to read the verses that will be recited beforehand for a deeper understanding. a list of recited verses is announced separately.

I’tikaf & Qiyam Prayer – Last 10 Nights
This activity revives the Sunnah of I’tikaf, following the practice of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by staying in the masjid during the last ten nights of Ramadan.
🌙 Who Can Join? Open to all male and female Muslims. Non-Muslims may join after prior communication with the Imam via email at info@theddic.org.
🗓️ Start Date: 21st night of Ramadan (approximately March 21st, 2025)
⏰ Schedule:
Overnight stay at the masjid
Qiyam prayer: 3:30 AM – 4:30 AM
Suhoor (pre-dawn meal): 4:30 AM

Fajr Reminders & Qur’an Telawah – Daily
These daily morning sessions take place after Fajr prayer for 30 minutes and consist of two key activities:
- Hadith or Wise Phrase Reflection – One Hadith or wise phrase is read aloud in Arabic and briefly discussed to extract its wisdom and lessons.
- Qur’an Recitation Training – Following the reminder, participants receive recitation training to correct mistakes in their Qur’an recitation, improving pronunciation and fluency.

Zakat El-Fitr
The masjid begins collecting Zakah El-Fitr (obligatory almsgiving for breaking the fast) from the beginning of Ramadan through various channels.
📌 Zakah al-Fitr Details:
- Minimum amount: $15 per person in the household, paid by the head of the family.
- Collection period: From the start of Ramadan until the Eid al-Fitr prayer.
- Distribution: Funds are distributed to eligible Muslims in need before Eid.
