For nearly two decades, Downtown Denver Islamic Center has been a place of prayer, spiritual services, and belonging in the heart of Denver. Today, that responsibility extends far beyond the walls of our masjid.
Every week, immigrant, refugee, and low-income families come to DDIC facing food insecurity, housing instability, unemployment, language barriers, medical needs, and the challenge of navigating life in a new country.
We believe our responsibility is not simply to respond to hardship. It is to walk alongside people until they can stand on their own.

Zakat and emergency financial assistance help families facing rent, utilities, transportation, medical expenses, and other urgent needs.

Providing intensive, one-on-one support to help newcomers navigate employment, healthcare, education, housing, benefits, transportation, and everyday life in Denver.
Feed Families
Fresh food, Halal groceries, pantry access 3 days per week, and monthly home delivery for families without transportation.
