Videos will be shared on our YouTube and Facebook pages.

I‘tikāf (Last Ten Nights of Ramadan)

Revive the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad with I‘tikāf in the last ten nights of Ramadan—a peaceful overnight stay in the masjid filled with Qur’an, dhikr, heartfelt du‘ā’, and the search for Laylat al-Qadr.

  • Begins on the 21st night (approx. March 9–10, 2026, depending on moon sighting).
  • Open to all Muslim brothers and sisters; non-Muslim guests are welcome with prior coordination at info@thedic.org.
  • Check in after Taraweeh, stay overnight, then join Qiyām (3:30–4:30 AM), enjoy Suhūr (5:00 AM), and pray Fajr together right after.

Zakah al-Fitr Collection (Ramadan–Eid)

From the beginning of Ramadan, the masjid will begin collecting Zakah al-Fitr—the obligatory charity given before Eid so every family can celebrate with dignity.

The minimum amount is $15 per person in the household, paid by the head of the family, and it may be given through our available collection channels throughout Ramadan.

Collection continues until the Eid al-Fitr prayer, and all funds are distributed to eligible Muslims in need before Eid, in shā’ Allāh.

Nightly Iftar Dinners

From the blessed beginning of Ramadan (Feb 17/18, 2026) until the final fast (March 19, 2026), join us every evening at Maghrib to break fast together—6:00 PM until March 8, then 7:00 PM for the remainder of the month.

Come experience the warmth of community, reflection, and togetherness.

All are welcome—Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Bring your family, your children, and your heart as we share unity, gratitude, and joy beneath the crescent moon.

Taraweeh Prayer (Night Prayer)

Join us every night of Ramadan for Taraweeh, prayed right after ‘Ishā’ at the masjid.

Taraweeh begins with the start of Ramadan (expected Feb 17–Mar 19, 2026, depending on moon sighting) and continues nightly throughout the month. The prayer lasts about one hour, and everyone is welcome.

Bring your family, and share in the peace of Ramadan.

Ramadan Open House Class: Faith, Fasting & Cultures

Join us for a welcoming intro class (5:00–7:00 PM) designed especially for non-Muslim guests—learn the basics of Islam, what Ramadan means, and how Muslims celebrate it across cultures.

After class, stay with us to break the fast together and experience the spirit of Ramadan firsthand.

Held on three dates during Ramadan:

  • Friday 02/20/2026
  • Tuesday 03/03/2026
  • Sunday 03/08/2026

All are welcome—bring a friend and your questions.

Nightly Qur’an & Sunnah Reflection: From Stories to Actions

Right after Taraweeh each night, join us for a short, heart-reviving reminder rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah—turning timeless stories into practical steps for daily life.

Come to renew your intention, strengthen your faith, and leave with one clear action you can carry into tomorrow.

All are welcome.

After-Fajr Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn

Daily during Ramadan

Begin your day with light, lasting barakah.

After Fajr each morning, we gather for a short reflection from Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn by Imām al-Nawawī—a hadith read in Arabic with a brief reminder to take its wisdom into daily life.
