We are thrilled to share that we have received grant funding from The Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids (HFDK) initiative. The grant, which is administered by the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment (DDPHE) through a voter-approve initiative, helps expand access to nutritious food for Denver’s youth.
DDIC is one of 17 organizations to receive financial support for projects centered around the provision of healthy food to youth of all ages through food pantries, meal and snack programs, grocery boxes and connecting families with federal nutrition assistance programs. This funding is critical to support our food programs including our Food Pantry and Food Relief Program.
We are grateful for the continued support of the DDPHE as we work to provide food to youth in need.
Applications are currently open for HFDK funding in 2026. Learn more about the program and future funding opportunities at denvergov.org/
