Food Relief Program
The Downtown Denver Islamic Center is investing in the future of our community by providing nutritious, culturally responsive food to our immigrant, refugee and low-income neighbors, and we need your help!

Volunteers are needed on the second Saturday of every month to support our Food Relief Program.

Volunteers are needed to sort, pack and distribute food. If you have a car, we also need delivery drivers to deliver food packages.

Two Volunteer Shifts Available:
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Food Sorting and Packaging
12 p.m. to 3 p.m. - Food Packages Delivery

Featured Volunteer Opportunity:
Delivery Driver

Delivery drivers are volunteers who deliver food packages for our Food Relief Program using their own cars. They work with an onsite operations manager to map out their drive, make phone calls to families before arrival, and greet families on behalf of DDIC.
